While being a sexy vampire and earning unlimited money through cheat codes are cool, you might not always have an interest in them. A viable option you should consider is to train your virtual Sim to be a good and productive member of the Sim community. To achieve this, you have to ensure that it performs well in school and also its homework properly and on time. Doing homework is one of the various study tools that enable students to learn how to work independently to improve their academic capabilities.
As you well know, going to school can be difficult and tiresome. And to top it off, there is usually a bunch of assignments and activities to execute when you return home before you can relax and enjoy yourself. Schooling in Sims 4 follows the exact pattern. That is, you have to find your Sims’ homework when they return from school. Then, you have to sit them down and help them complete it.
Types of Homework
There are two types of homework in the Sims 4. The first type is the one that’s done by younger Sims still in grade school or high school. While the second type is the one University level students do through the University expansion pack. It is imperative that you complete the homework of each of your Sims, especially the younger ones, before the end of each day. You can find the homework of each Sim in their individual inventory.
It is worthy of note that doing homework will put Sims in a great mood before they leave home for school the next day.
Grade School and High School Homework
When you decide to have a family in Sims 4, you will have to raise children, who will eventually go to school. At their schools, they’ll be given homework, which they have to complete every day from Monday to Friday. While it might seem daunting, learning how to do homework in Sims 4 is easy and straightforward.
Sims within the child age have an orange-colored homework book in their inventory. In the same vein, those going through their teenage years have a blue-colored homework book in their inventory. So, keep in mind that your children’s homework book’s color will change to reflect their increasing age.
Furthermore, there may be times when you’d be unable to find your Sim’s homework for one reason or the other. When this happens, endeavor to replace the book immediately. As such, buy a new copy of the book through the “Purchase Books” option that appears when you select a bookshelf. Note that this replacement will come at a cost.
To help your Sims do its homework, click on it and select the “Do Homework” option.
Speed Up the Homework
In Sims 4, you have the ability to do your child’s homework at a rapid pace. The primary method through which you can achieve this is by enlisting the aid of an adult Sim. To do this, select an adult Sim, click on the child or teen with the homework, and choose the “Help with Homework” option.
If after completing your Sims’ homework, they earn a B grade, you can choose to “Do Extra Credit”. Because of this, they will get a small boost at school the next time they go.
You can also speed up the homework process by improving the Sim’s homework skills to level four or higher of the available seven levels.
Earn Better Grades in Your Homework
To enjoy doing your Sim’s homework, you have to concentrate on learning how to do the tasks, and then growing your Sim’s skills. To ensure your Sims is awarded better grades, target scaling up their skill level to level four or higher as already mentioned. This will enable them to complete their homework at a rapid pace.
If your Sim has a homework skill level higher than level three, then the “Do Homework” option will change to “Breeze Through Homework.” The more you learn about how to do homework in Sims 4, the more increment you will notice with the skill level. When you finally get to skill level seven, the “Breeze Through Homework” option will change again to “Dominate Homework.” Fortunately, even if you lose your Sims 4 homework, the skill level won’t change. This remains the case even after you get a replacement.
You should know that neglecting your Sims’ homework or not replacing their missing homework books will get them into bad moods. And you do not want this to happen.
University Homework
The introduction of the Sims 4: University expansion pack paved way for the second type of homework available in the game. This homework type is targeted toward Sims that are studying to earn a degree in Universities.
When your Sim attends classes, they will be given homework, which they have to do before their next class. If you want your character to earn an A+ in the university, endeavor to do every assigned homework before attending class.
To enable your Sims complete their homework at a rapid pace, you can employ any of two different methods. These methods are:
- The first method involves integrating the study spot lot trait in your Sims house.
- The second method involves acquiring the research and debate skill within the game. This is because Sims that have a higher research and debate skill complete their homework faster than those who don’t. They are also more efficient with their term papers.
Finally, if you want to keep your Sims happy and ensure they have a successful life, ensure they do their homework. Work on their homework consistently and endeavor to increase your skill level at the Grade School, High School, and University levels.
